The start of 2021 will continue to be slow periods for charity fundraising in general. The ongoing pandemic will limit the activities which charities are able use to raise funds, experts are predicting this is likely to be the case until at least spring when the vaccine as well as the warm weather are able to have a positive effect.
The pandemic is also effecting how the public are able to recycle their unwanted goods due to charity shop closures. We are seeing shops closed across Chester, the Wirral, Warrington, St. Helens, Manchester and Liverpool.
There is also pressure being placed on textile banks which are struggling to cope with the extra supply. This is leading to some sites across Chester, the Wirral, Warrington, St. Helens, Manchester and Liverpool having issues with fly tipping.
We are carrying out COVID safe contactless collections in Chester, the Wirral, Warrington, St. Helens, Manchester and Liverpool.
